These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website
drivemesamui.com and the car rental services provided by DriveMe Samui.
By booking a car or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. General Provisions

  • DriveMe Samui provides car rental services on Koh Samui directly and/or in cooperation with trusted local partners.
  • The minimum rental period is 1 day (24 hours).
  • All rentals are subject to vehicle availability at the time of booking.

2. Driver Requirements

  • The minimum driver age is 21 years, with at least one year of driving experience.
  • A valid driving license is required. An International Driving Permit is recommended.
  • The renter is responsible for ensuring that all drivers meet the legal requirements in Thailand.

3. Booking & Payment

  • No credit card is required to book a vehicle.
  • No deposit is required – payment is made upon pick-up in cash or by debit card.
  • Rental rates include basic insurance and taxes, unless stated otherwise.

4. Insurance & Liability

  • All cars come with basic insurance included in the rental price.
  • Optional extended insurance may be offered for additional coverage.
  • The renter is liable for any damages not covered by insurance, as well as for loss of documents or accessories.

5. Vehicle Use

  • The vehicle must only be driven on Koh Samui.
  • The renter must follow Thai traffic laws and regulations.
  • It is prohibited to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Only authorized drivers listed in the rental agreement are allowed to drive the car.

6. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a certain fuel level and must be returned with the same level.
  • Failure to return the car with the same fuel level may result in an additional charge.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pick-up are free of charge.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee equal to one rental day.

8. Breakdowns & Accidents

  • In case of a breakdown, contact DriveMe Samui immediately. Assistance will be provided as soon as possible.
  • In case of an accident, the renter must notify DriveMe Samui and the local authorities immediately.
  • A police report is required for all insurance claims.

9. Amendments

DriveMe Samui reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the local courts on Koh Samui.
